The Hotel at the University of Maryland is the ideal location for an executive extended stay. For significantly extended stays of 60+ nights, we are offering a special discounted rate of $69.00/$89.00 + tax*, per room, per night for single/double occupancy. *Please note the tax savings below based on your length of stay.
For these extended stays, the rate will not include meals or Housekeeping services (you will be responsible for the cleanliness of the room and will provide your own sheets and towels) though we will inspect the room periodically. We do have an optional housekeeping program detailed below if you wish to participate.

Once weekly housekeeping services are available at a cost of $75 per week. This would include:
Requirements: Guests are required to schedule housekeeping in advance and may not be in the room at the time of cleaning. If the housekeeping service is added at the time of placing the reservation, cleaning fees will be included in the initial deposit and future pre-payments. This service may be added during the stay if requested.
Current taxes are 13% per night for rooms (6% State tax and 7% local occupancy tax). For your initial 30 days you will be charged the state sales tax of 6% on your daily rate, then on day 31, we will refund you the tax collected for the first 30 days and you will remain tax exempt for state sales tax until you check out. For your first 90 days you will pay the occupancy tax of 7% then on day 91 we refund you the tax collected for your first 90 days. Again, when you continue to stay with us, you will be exempt from day 91 until you check out.
*The stay must be continuous from day 1 to beyond day 91 without checking out of the room for a single day. If you check out prior to your 31st night, you will pay the full 13% tax, if you check out between 31-90 days you will owe the 7%.
